For World Book Day 2025, we celebrated by enjoying books on a football theme thanks to one of the World Book Day Books being The Soccer Diaries Rocky Takes the Lead by Tom Palmer.

We were also invited to take part in a competition from Show Racism the Red Card, producing artwork to celebrate diversity and anti-racism.

Each class focussed on a footballer from a range of diverse backgrounds and enjoyed a football-themed book. 

We were thrilled to receive extra-special messages. including from Derby County captain Ebou Adams, wishing us a Happy World Book Day!
